THE JOURNEY
At Konecta, tax management and analytical reporting are very complex due to the number of companies in different locations that make up the Group. Faced with the decision to make a technological leap, they have opted for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for its ease of implementation compared to other alternatives, its scalability and also for the possibilities of integration and customisation of the ERP tool, even with other technologies such as the ecosystem of applications already existing in the company.
Another aspect of particular added value has been the possibility of migrating to the Azure cloud the immense amount of data that was organised in a pre-existing architecture of data sharing between Group companies. The cloud has favoured the implementation of the tool at all sites worldwide, without the need for complex local infrastructures.
THE ARRIVAL
With Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, Konecta Group now measures supplier relationships and project management; it has simplified processes and, in addition, has a complete and real-time view of the status of all its accounts at all times. The integrated Artificial Intelligence layer means that Konecta can benefit from predictive metrics of great value to the business and make better data-driven decisions.
The project was executed on schedule and, due to the pandemic, was almost 100% remote, which seemed impossible in the first instance. All the previous functionalities were maintained and complemented with product standardisation, which means that if there are new legislative changes, the necessary modifications will come from Microsoft, without the impact of additional licensing costs that they had in the past with their proprietary solution.
The cloud has favoured the implementation of the tool in all headquarters worldwide, without the need for complex local infrastructures.
In short, in Konecta Group, both the control and management of finances and operations and regulatory compliance have been enhanced, thanks to the commitment to Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
