We are halfway through 2021 and we are still learning at all levels, taking steps and growing together to a more global company. This is something to be proud of, thanks to the teamwork we are overcoming the hangover that 2020 left us with.
The last July 1st Eloi Baixeras joined our Expert Crew. He is a Dynamics 365 F&O Senior Consultant specialised in the Finance Area and high expertise in Cost Accounting Management, a great professional and a business school teacher with an extensive experience. With him we open a new stage of growth for axazure that makes us very proud.
In order for you to get to know Eloi a little bit better, we put together some questions so that you can keep him on your radar, as he will soon need to grow his team in Catalonia.
What encouraged you to join our crew?
Eloi:
It has been a mix of things that have made me decide to grab my bag and join the Axazure’s crew, firstly the recognition of the company, I have always heard about the technical quality of Axazure, secondly the team and the good working environment. It is important to be in a place where you wake up in the morning and want to go to work. Thirdly, the project that was presented to me, motivating, ambitious and above all with the desire to keep doing things well and finally two very important factors, Natalia Castelló and her speech in the interview and one thing that Antonio Gilabert said to me, “Here we want professional relationships to become friendships” and for me a friend always gives everything.
What made you enter the world of training?
Eloi:
Great question, I have ADHD, some people tell me, don’t say it, you know ADHD back in the days was something that was quite unknown and I was often considered a lost cause. Thanks to my wife… a saint who puts up with me… she taught me to manage it and to learn from my defects, among them to write texts. So one day I was offered to give classes to PGS-PQPI who are the kids that have not passed the ESO and they told me – Eloi you should know that many have ADHD and personal problems, etc. – Years later many of those kids are still writing me and thanking me and that – IT IS PRICELESS -. From that momento one thing led me to another and I ended up in ESERP teaching Banking Management, Financial Management 2 and currently I am in IEBS, an online business school, teaching the subject of International Finance, IFRS and Group Consolidation, which is more difficult to write than to explain!
How do you think the arrival of Axazure in Catalonia can be something attractive not only to clients but also talent?
Eloi:
I think that in general Axazure is already a magnet to attract talent, and this is not just saying otherwise I wouln’t be here. I think that, with hard work, effort and professionalism behind Axazure’s team, talent and clients will decide that although we are not the only option, we are a serious company they want to work with. The book Radical, by Ricardo Semler has a phrase that for me is so basic that many people do not apply it, “Treat others as you would like them to treat you”, that is trust, work, respect, complicity, etc.
The Force or Dark Side?
Eloi:
I am a big fan of Darth Vader….many times I tell my son, “Marcel, I am your father…and you will also lose your hair like me!”
Thanks to this new addition we continue to grow and expand our business spirit. Another twist of the screw to continue progressing and growing by giving the best of us.
