The Challenge

Feedback management was not integrated with key platforms such as the CRM, SharePoint, or Active Directory, resulting in a lack of visibility and limited scalability. AIMPLAS needed to modernize its approach with a comprehensive, secure, and automated solution capable of centralizing all information and providing a global view of team performance.

AIMPLAS, the Plastics Technology Centre, is a private non-profit organization based in the Paterna Technology Park (Valencia, Spain), which has been driving innovation across the entire plastics value chain since 1990. With a team of over 250 professionals and more than 12,000 m² of facilities, it provides technological solutions to manufacturers, recyclers, and end-users through R&D&I services, accredited testing, technical consulting, training, and competitive intelligence. All of this is done with a strong commitment to sustainability, promoting the circular economy and the development of recyclable and biodegradable materials.

In line with this spirit of innovation and continuous improvement, AIMPLAS had long embraced 360° evaluation as a key tool for managing and developing internal talent. However, the system they were using had significant limitations: it was an isolated application, disconnected from the rest of their digital tools. This fragmented approach turned evaluation into a manual and inefficient process, making it difficult to monitor progress and make strategic decisions.

The Journey

Once the challenge was identified, Axazure got to work to support AIMPLAS in transforming its 360° evaluation system. The goal was not just to replace an outdated application, but to create a fully integrated, dynamic experience aligned with their talent development vision.

The solution was built on Microsoft Power Platform, enabling a modular, secure, and scalable approach. A new application was developed in Power Apps, designed to be intuitive and accessible for both employees and managers. Each user can view their active evaluations, track their progress over time, and review key indicators such as competencies, attitudes, objectives, and training follow-up.

The evaluation process was completely restructured.

Thanks to Power Automate, all phases were automated—from document repository generation and survey deployment to peer feedback collection. Tasks that previously required manual management—such as assignments, notifications, or alerts—are now executed automatically and accurately.

To make all this knowledge visible and actionable, Power BI was used: dynamic dashboards, spider charts, and customized panels enable data-driven decision-making, both at the individual level and across the organization through monitoring committees.

The solution was connected to SharePoint to manage each employee’s personal documentation, to Active Directory to identify key working relationships, and to all the solutions built on Power Platform, including their CRM.

This way, all business applications are hosted and connected within a single unified platform, eliminating information silos and avoiding complex integrations.

This journey was not just a technological upgrade — it was a true transformation in how AIMPLAS manages, values, and develops the potential of its people.
